Stop Light 101

Green light means - Go.

Yellow Light mean- Caution / Slow Down.

Red Light means- Stop.

Well... same goes for the little car in Kobe's class room. All the kiddos have a car with their name on it. If they are good all day they get to stay on green. If not they move to Yellow for a warning. Then Red means.. well its not good. At least this is my understanding on how the system works in the classroom.. well all last week and the week before Kobe had ALL green..(Which means he gets to pick out of the treasure box on Friday) Even yesterday (Monday) He came home with a green. That is the first thing I check as soon as I grab his folders out. Well today he had a little trouble..

YELLOW..

He hung his head and said I'm really sorry Mom. It was an accident.. he said this like 100 times.. I swear... I asked him what had happened for him to get yellow.. he claimed he didn't know. Then he finally told me he turned on a light in the cabinet(??).. Well come to find out it was the trophy case in the school.. Understandable.. as to why he got yellow.. I told him I wasn't happy that he got yellow and maybe he can try a little harder to not get on yellow anymore.

Ugh I hate that he got yellow. He hates that he got yellow. Yellow sucks. I know its probably not the last time he'll get yellow. But the first time is a shocker.. Not because I think my kid is perfect.. I'll be the first to tell you he is a stink weed, But just the fact he was misbehaving at school upsets me.. I know I'm a freak and I worry too much.. Oh well.. Tomorrow is a new day.. Go Big GREEN!!.. We are rooting for a GREEN tomorrow..

Pics of the New Place..

Finally took some pics of the new place.. sorry its not as clean as it "should be" lol

Wow... wow... weekend!

Sooo let me start with Friday night (just know Saturday recap is worth Reading this whole blog for haha) we surprised our parents with pics we got take the week before. Mom was soooo shocked! She LOVED them.. here is one but if you want to see them all click *HERE*

Soooo Saturday, we did some errand running one of them being, borrowing a tool from Grandpa. soo Kobe wasn't being himself, he was quiet and wouldn't talk much and didn't want to get out at Grandma and Grandpa's (My Grandparents) so he sat in the van while I ran in and Jason went into the garage with Grandpa. Well Jason had come into tell me he was ready.. So we got in the van and drove home.. I turned to say something to Kobe and he wasn't in his booster seat. We didn't know he got OUT at Grandma and Grandpa's. While we were inside he got out and went to see what was going on in the garage. We got ALL the way home before I realized he wasn't in the van.. I didn't know if I should have a panic attack or puke... so I got my phone and dialed Grandma's number to make sure he was out in the garage.. sure enough he was... I felt HORRIBLE.. still to think about it makes me upset.. my Grandparents don't live too far away but far enough.. when we got there I hugged him and apologized my butt off.. He looked at me like I was CRAZY... and says "what?! I wasn't scared!" I mean granted it was Grandma and Grandpa's house but STILL. I felt awful.. *sigh*

On a brighter note.. we grilled out Saturday night.. Yummy Steaks!!! Corn on the cob that I "Food Saved" (and froze)over a month ago and was just as good as the day we bought it. Of course fried Zucchini.. still have that Zucchini coming outta our ears LOL.

Kobe is practicing shoe tieing.. he's doing really well.. he got it a few times this morning when we were practicing.. :)

We went out our "spot" to fish this evening.. We stopped to get a fountain drink before we headed out there.. Kobe was pulling the paper off his straw and musta fell asleep like this hahaha.. I DID take this out of his mouth before he rammed it down his throat :) See I AM a good mom LOL

We went down to our spot well as I sat in my lawn chair I look down and my arm is COVERED in these tiny little bugs.. I mean you could barely see them.. I was like OMG look at these bugs on my arm.. Jason came to look and was like "GET THOSE OFF YOU, THOSE ARE TURKEY TICKS" of course I FREAKED hahahaha eww I'm itching just thinking about it LOL there was probably 100 NOT kidding.. I must of brushed up against something.. UGH..

Here is the guys fishing (not "our spot") but at Wren Pond.

This is what Mommy does while the guys fish.. Excuse the no make-up and wind blown hair ahhh..

Sooooo while fishing at Wren Pond we realized Kobe had forgotten the Mp3 player and his new headphones at "our spot" so we go back hoping and praying they will still be there.. NOPE.. someone snatched them up.. I'm soo upset.. not at Kobe.. But one Myself for not checking around after we packed up and 2 for whoever took it.. You should of KNOWN someone left it on accident and could possibly come looking for it. There were some young boys out there with their Mom.. I hope she didn't *let* them take it.. *sigh* oh well what can ya do? Right?!

I finally found it!

First off let me tell you how my morning went from BAD to better with in 40 minutes... I open my eyes to realize its light outside.. AHHH I grab my phone and realize its 6:58.. I start my morning at 6:15am So I jump up and go to hurry and get dress only to realize MY clothes are all in the washer.. I had went to bed and forgot to put them in the dryer. I'm the kinda woman who has 2 bras.. an everyday wear and a bra for dressy clothes.. so I head straight to the washer, throw them in the dryer and think *okay I have 40 minutes surely they will be dry by then* I go to wake Kobe up.. He was already away and alert thank you Lord. I didn't have time to deal with a tired child. I had planned to get up and make him scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast. Thank You Lord for toaster waffles. Kobe is the type who takes forever to eat breakfast.. he wasn't this morning.. he ate right up, took his meds got dressed, shoes on and sat and watched TV. By this time I'm hurrying and decided I'll skip makeup today. So I fixed my hair, my clothes WERE dry. Got dressed headed to the living room.. Kobe wasn't there, TV was off, I look outside he's got his backpack on sitting on the steps. I grab my purse, keys and slip on my flip flops and head out. I open the door smiled and said thanks for getting ready so fast this morning and listening.. He says "Your welcome, I came outside to say good morning to the day" hahahaha he's a hoot, Off to school we go. He goes in ALONE was able to open doors this morning.. Again Thank You Lord for making my no good very bad 'morning' go to a good day!!

Sooo I FINALLY found my adapter for my cellphone memory card so I can upload cell pics onto the computer. So this is pretty much picture overload lol.

Kobe has mastered "Bubble Blowing" Ugh this was a long hard process LOL but as a wise person said "Practice Makes Perfect"

Kobe writing a sincere "You broke my heart" letter to Mamaw.. Because Mamaw said "No" hahahaha something this spoiled child isn't used to hearing from his mamaw LOL (I know you'll read this Mom and its true hahahaha Love U)

Doing his first ever homework papers.

This weird ??Bug?? it looked like a leaf.. and didn't move forever!

Playing with toys at Dr. Dan's office!

Opened my purse at the grocery store this morning and I found a dirty SOCK in there.. Thank You Kobe! LOL Oooh the joys of having a BOY hahahaha.

You all didn't know I was a mechanic did you?? Yeh that's what I do in my spare time hahahahha KIDDING.. although lets see this morning my van was low on coolant and was whining so needed power steering fluid. Good thing I know how to do somethings :) when it comes to cars!

Wooohooo... We won $50.00 on a scratch off..

The other day at my parents house I caught Kobe walking on this wall that separates my parents drive and the neighbors house. Some of you might be doing the whole *GASP*.. But this actually made me smile. My sister, brother and I ALL walked on this wall ALL the time while we were growing up.. Kinda made my heart feel good.. NEVER did any of us kids fall or get hurt doing it.. and IF I as a child did it, it must not be to dangerous LOL I was not one who lived on the "danger side" lol

Kobe found a locust wing.. it was pretty cool looking! Excuse the dirty hands if you remember in a few posts back it was from working on his bike chain...

Got Zucchini?

We do.. We have Zucchini coming out our ears. Jason's parents have a garden so his Mom keeps us stocked in fresh produce. Zucchini being the 3rd top veggie we get from them. I had never made anything with Zucchini before so I hopped on Google and All recipes.com and found some recipes.. Oooh and My grandma gave me a recipe of hers that I have always loved.. Not sure if She made it up or got it somewhere.. But I'm going to share it..

Zucchini Bread

I got this off allrecipes.com. This is the best Zucchini bread recipe that I've ever had... :)

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 1/4 cups white sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups grated zucchini
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
1.Grease and flour two 8 x 4 inch pans. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
2.Sift flour, salt, baking powder, soda, and cinnamon together in a bowl.
3.Beat eggs, oil, vanilla, and sugar together in a large bowl. Add sifted ingredients to the creamed mixture, and beat well. Stir in zucchini and nuts until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pans.
4.Bake for 40 to 60 minutes, or until tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack for 20 minutes. Remove bread from pan, and completely cool.

Zoulash

(I made that name up since it was nameless)

Don't let this picture fool you LOL it really is YUMMY!!! My 5 year old didn't want to eat it because it looked like "Bomit" (vomit) but I made him taste it and he ate every bite!

2 pounds of ground beef or turkey
Some dried minced onion cooked with the ground beef
1 can of corn
1c. of chopped or cubed zucchini
1 jar of spaghetti sauce
soy sauce.. I used probably about 1/4 cup but I LOVE soy sauce.. just
give it a "generous" amount

Directions:
Brown hamburger and minced onions, drain.
Add Spag Sauce, Corn (drained), zucchini, and soy sauce.
Return to stove and "cook" til its all heated up.

I just let mine heat up until the corn bread was done.

The picture doesn't look appetizing but I assure you it IS!!! :)

Fried Zucchini

Jason requested this one..

I just took about 1/4in slices.. dipped them in egg and a lil milk and covered them in flour. They were okay but next time Im going to batter them in cracker crumbs..

Little bit of this an a little bit of that...

First off let me just tell ya what kinda morning I had this morning *sigh* Sooo Kobe wanted to walk in school alone this morning.. I was hesitant but agreed he could. So we pull up to the school.. he puts his back pack on and hops right out of the van. He runs to the door.. opens it right up and goes in.. so I pull away and look in my rear view mirror.. and here he comes out AHHHH.. There's no way I can turn around or stop since I'm in the flow of "school traffic" so I go around the "block" and go back into the crowded school zone and he must of went back in.. THAT'S when the the panic attack set in.. my stomach was in knots.. All I wanted to do was go in and check to make sure he was ok or that he was IN the school.. so I came home and made my self sick from worrying.. so I finally decided to call the school and check on him.. The Secretary gave me the teachers VM. I left a message letting her know what I wanted and asked if she could call me back. About a half an hour later my phone rings and its Mrs. K. She assures me he is there and just fine and that she wouldn't have even guessed he was even upset (IF he even was. I'm sure it was just ME *sigh*) I thanked her for calling and putting my mind/stomach at ease.. Maybe I worry to much.. Not sure if that a good thing or not..

Sooo anyways this past weekend it was sooo nice outside.. Thank Goodness since we had no A/C... we soon found out the a/c unit was broke in the house we moved into.. We were lucky there wasn't REAL hot days like we had not to long ago. We are renting a trailer in a local trailer park right now with the option to buy. Are goal is to buy it.. find land out in the country and move it out there and then build onto it. We both decided we were okay with doing that and it also wouldn't put us in soo much in debt by doing this step by step. The last thing we want is to be up to our ears in debt. We are both trying to start fresh from our 'not so good' previous "marriages". So we "spruced" up the outside of the trailer.. Its AMAZING what a pressure washer can do and how awesome it makes things look lol Kobe was soaking it all in trying to figure out the whole pressure washer thing lol
In the mean time he rode his bike.. well spent most of the time putting the chain back on.. it was stretched and Jason had to take the wheel off and move it back some.. BTW... don't let your child mess with the chain.. I learned the hard way it WILL cut them.. He had a nice little cut on his finger :(

This is before the pressure washer... YUCK!!

Jason hard at work lol

After the pressure washer.. well 3 days after lol the steps are kinda muddy again.. But wow.. it really did clean them..

I'll take pics of the inside.. sometime soon.. I about have all the boxes unpacked :) Its pretty nice inside.. doesn't feel like a trailer except the first night we had the windows open (cause of no a/c) and I felt like I was camping.. I still feel like I'm camping when we are outside with all the trailers around and kids riding bikes all day/night long :) But I like it.. This is coming from a girl who stated before (when I was younger) "I will NEVER live in a trailer" hahaha Funny how ya change when you get older..

I'm always changing...

I've moved again.. I hope this is the last move at least for awhile. I'm sick of moving. Jason, Kobe and I got a house. We got the keys Aug 12th and moved that night and the next day. It was a fast move. Although here it is Aug 19th and I still have 4 more boxes to unpack..

Jason!?! Your probably thinking and maybe even going back through the blog archive "that's not the guy she was with not too long ago.." Or maybe your even thinking *bad thoughts* I really could careless if you are lol but yes I'm with Jason now. Long story short Jason and I hung out in HS.. (he went to BR) we met up again one day and feelings came rushing in... the feelings were mutual and so here we are now.. In love, engaged, and loving life together!

I celebrated my 28th birthday Aug 12th.. well we "celebrated" on Aug 13th, we went out to eat at El Mazatlan then we had people over at our new house. It was a small group but a VERY FUN group. It was Jason and I, Amanda, Josh, Adam, Anna, Jessica, and Matt. My brother is a very funny guy he had us laughing the whole night.. I mean there were times I thought I was going to pee my pants. Times where I thought my jaws were going to have charlie horses. Jason's ribs were sore from laughing.. Adam is a good time let me tell ya.. All of my friends/family are.. we had a good night!
*This is Adam*

I went this morning and got my hair CHOPPED off.. it was way past my bra strap.. I probably had 6 or 7 inches cut off..
