Family Time

Family time is the best time. We got to spend Thanksgiving with my Mom's side this year. We haven't been all together in a long time. It was really nice to get all of us together.
Here are all the cousins.. Left to right: Olivia (my niece), Stella (my cousin Carrie's daughter), Brady, Brice (my cousin Candice's Kids) Kobe and then Titus (My cousin Carrie's son)

Kobe and Titus were not even walking last time they were together. That's how long its been :(
We all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We were able to get my Grandma out of the nursing home and take her with us to my Uncle Jeff and his Wife Terri's she had a really good day.

My Uncle Jeff has a tiny dog named Max. Its a Chihuahua and Pomeranian mixed.. Kobe LOVED him.. He's usually scared of dogs but not Max. In fact he was told SEVERAL times to put Max down lol. He begged us to get him one exactly like it lol.

My Grandma.. Bless her heart.. She was there with us but it wasn't "Grandma" Darn you Alzheimer's.. You suck :(

Here are some more pics from Thanksgiving day.

Winner Winner! Deer Dinner??!?!?!

J-Bird got a deer!! Yay! That means I'll have a freezer full of deer steaks/burger/roasts etc. As I type this the guys (Jason and My dad) are out cutting it off the deer right now. While my precious baby boy cleans the hair off of the meat lol. He is going to be a hunter at an early age. Jason already has taken him out to the woods with him when he went but they didn't see anything that day. I hope Jason gets a deer next time he takes Kobe. I would love to for Kobe to experience that. He has ran in here twice already and showed me his bloody hands from the meat. We got a total of 4 roasts, 30 steaks, 2lbs of meat for jerky and 30 lbs of meat for burger!!

Arf!

Thursday night (Nov, 17th) was Kobe's school program. It was his first ever school program. Well I mean he had one when he went to WC Preschool but this was an actual play/program. All the kids dressed up as dogs. The theme was "Arf" It was sooo cute. It was one of those "proud Mom" moments where you get choked up and fight back the tears because your in public and you don't want people to think your a spaz lol. Another thing that made this night so special was to have my husband with me. It was nice to have that other person there for support. He also did a GREAT job manning the video camera :) I loved having the whole family thing.

Happy Halloween 2011

Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. I love everything about it.. the decor, the dressing up, the trick or treaters, etc. This year Kobe choose to be Bumble Bee from The movie Transformers. It was a hit with a lot of people. We had a good time and got TONS of candy.
This is the bag Kobe carries every year.. Well except one year because he got a plastic pumpkin from a friend of mine. But Aunt Amanda got Kobe this for his first Halloween and we still carry it :)
