***** Meet "Jack" ****

This is Jack
Jack is our "Elf On The Shelf" Buddy!!! He comes with a story book you read with the kids and tells you all about Jack and why he is at your house!

So While Kobe was upstairs on the phone with his mamaw, I got the book out and sat the Elf on a wicker heart I have and when Kobe came down stairs I said Look who came to see us and brought us a book. He looked around thinking it was going to be a normal size human lol. He didn't spot him so I had to give him several clues. When he saw him he was in awe. I told him come over here and sit on the couch and we will read the story about him. So he crawled up on my lap and the questions started LOL I didn't think I was going to be able to read the story due to him stopping me and asking 25654112 Questions. So Anyways here is how it goes if you are wondering. You let your child name your elf. Kobe named him all by himself... Named him "Jack" you aren't aloud to touch Jack because he will lose his magic and leave and not come back. But every day Jack sits and watches Kobe ALL day and then at night when he goes to bed Jack flies to the North Pole and tells Santa if Kobe was a good boy today then returns before Kobe gets outta bed and sits in a different spot. Every morning Kobe gets the joy of looking for Jack in a new spot. If your child has an amazing imagination like mine then I HIGHLY recommend this but not til they are older. Kobe is 3 will be 4 in Feb and this is the PERFECT age for him to start this. Its cute and fun and dang it gets me 23 days of Good behavior outta Kobe LOL Well I am hoping at least LOL. Kobe loves Jack and talks to him constantly. I don't think he'll get bored with it either because Every night he moves to a different spot and Kobe has to look for him! I just hope I can find 22 more different places to put Jack that Kobe can't reach him LOL I look forward to moving Jack every night. Last night I couldn't wait for Kobe to fall asleep so I could sneak down our stairs and put Jack in a new place! Its doesn't take much to excite me LOL I think you can get "The Elf On the Shelf" at Barnes and Noble I got mine as a gift last year. If you have someone you could give this to as a gift I highly recommend it :o) I think I made my point bout recommending it! :o) I love Christmas and I love Doing this and the whole Santa Claus thing. We go and see Santa at the Mall because to me THAT is the "real" Santa lol I'm still a HUGE believer in the Idea of Santa and I will cry when it comes the time my son says he doesn't believe anymore. But hopefully I will be as good as my mom was in making me believe there was a Santa that it will last forever like it does for me. :o)

  2. I REALLY wish I had heard about this little guy earlier. Miss Em could really use him. She starts to act up and then says "I not want Christmas to come" because she knows I'm about to break out the "Santa's watching you" speech haha.

Sorry you had to change your layout :O(

  3. You are such a wonderful Mommy! These are the things that Kobe will remember and cherish when he is an adult. I love you Sis, and am so proud of the wonderful adult you have become. Love, Mom

  4. That sounds like so much fun! We may need to invest in a "Jack" for our house. You are such a fun mom. Kobe is so lucky. Take care.

  5. That is such a cute idea, I think my younger two would love that! Noah is getting a little big and is quite skeptical of the whole Santa thing, but doesn't want to say it for fear it would mean the end of presents from him. Ha!
