Just had too..

I'm not one who gets up every Sunday and gets dressed in my "Sunday best" with my family and heads to Church. Does that not make me a Christian, I wonder? I don't think so.. to me I'd love to find a church to call my own. One where Kobe can go and enjoy. I could always go to my Grandparents church. They are always welcoming.. and I like the people there but I just don't feel that "at home" feel that I see ppl feel. I could go to ACC.. But it's so big... then again I think I might like that.. a church were I can go and not be recognized. But wait I said I want that "at home" church family feel.. didn't I? SEE I'm such an indecisive person! I think that's why I don't go any where.. which leads me BACK to the point of this blog.. I believe in God and Jesus and I believe he died for our sins. I believe he hears our prayers and answers them. One reason I know he is alive because of my 8 yr old who is asleep in the other room. I was not raised in a family who went to Church.. who prayed at dinner time.. who knew about the Bible. (I honestly couldn't tell you one quote from the Bible..) but some how, some way my 8yr old knows ALL about Jesus and what he did for us. He went to a Catholic preschool for a year but he knew all this BEFORE going there. Not because I've taught him, Not because he goes to church with someone else... Some ONE some HOW made that little boy know from a very young age. His faith is STRONG too. If you read my previous blog (click here) you will see the things he says. I believe him. Just like the other day we drove by the church in the small town we live by and there was a statue of Jesus sitting in the church's landscaping.. As we sat at the stop sign waiting for Jason to pull onto the hwy I tap(we were in the truck) on Kobe and say Look there is Jesus! He got all excited and asked where.. when I pointed to show him he seemed disappointed because he thought I had meant the real one not a statue.. he kinda laughed, then with a few minutes gone by he says.. Wouldn't that be cool if he was really here? Me forgetting about the convo that just took place.. I said who? He said "Jesus" wouldn't that be cool if he was really here and we could touch him and hug him? I know his little brain was thinking during that whole few minutes there was silence.. The weirdest thing about all of that was when I got home I hopped on FB which I'm bad about doing.. and Amber, a friend of mine on FB posted pictures of her with Jesus(her hubby dressed up for a play) saying that he was there.. it made me smile just because of Kobe's convo earlier! Just kinda one of those quinkie dinks LOL

So any who.. we may not go sit in a church every Sunday, and read our Bible daily.. but we love and accept Jesus Christ and he IS in fact a big part in our lives. We pray and not only when we are in need either. I don't know where this blog is going now. I don't even remember the actual point of this.. I just know as I was in the hot bath tub tonight I just started praying. A long emotional prayer. That made me get out when I was finished praying and blog (I didn't even shave my legs).. not sure why, it was just something I needed to do. Something I felt I needed to share with the blog/FB world.

 Here lately I've been looking up verses, pinning stuff on Pinterest, googling denominations, I've just had such an interest in it. Saturday night as I was sitting through my nieces First Communion Mass I thought to myself maybe I should become (brace yourself Grandma..kidding) Catholic. That is what Jason is. His whole family is Catholic, maybe I should? We live 2 doors down from a Catholic Church.. we could WALK! Then sometimes I think I just don't care what denomination I am.. because as long as HE knows how I feel thats all that matters.. In MY(I said my) opinion HE is the same person no matter what denomination you are.. With that being said I think I'll end this blog. Not even sure if it makes sense or its a bunch of rambles but I feel better!! Good Night and May God Bless YOU!!

My poor glued baby!!

This afternoon about 4ish Kobe comes running in my parents house screaming.. My first thought was a broken bone.. until I saw the blood.. My Mom and I both run too him and take him to the sink to rinse off the blood to see what we are both dealing with.. I about passed out...  it was definitely something Mommy and Mamaw wasn't going to be able to fix with a band-aid and a kiss.. He was catching himself from falling and grabbed the garage where the edge of the siding is and it sliced it open.. blah.. We were out the door and to the hospital in 3 minutes tops.. the whole time I was praying for no stitches because I don't think I could watch my baby go through that.. I'm not very strong when it comes to that.. plus I was there alone with him.. my mom is my support in times like these.. I still need her I'll admit I'm a huge mommas girl lol.. Jason showed up so I was at a little more ease.. the Dr. finally came in and had the nurse come in and clean it up and prep it for GLUE!! Did she say GLUE!?!?! PRAISE God!! That was music to both mine and Kobe's ears.. She came in and glued his hand and while we waited for it to dry she was telling us his restrictions:

For 7 Days.. He cried harder about that than the actual injury.. :(

Along with no soccer for 7 days that means no P.E. and no recess either.. If that sucker pops open he'll have to have stitches..

On the way back to my parents house the radio was off and we both were quiet I think both comin off our adrenaline rush when Kobe says "Mom, Jesus and God were right. I was alright." I said what do you mean? Did you pray? He said "No, but everytime I get hurt I hear Jesus and God say everything will be okay, It'll be alright. They are always right mom." I said you hear them say that? He said "yeh, its like I have a little spirit inside me." This melted my heart and I teared up as I am right now typing this.. he is such an awesome little boy! I know people only see the hard headed child who doesn't listen and whatever other things you all think but he is an AWESOME, WONDERFUL kid who I love so much who makes me proud and thats all that matters!! I don't know why I'm getting so defensive.. well yeh I do acctually lol  This goes out to Family, friends, acquaintances, whatever you are.. I'll be the FIRST to admit my child can be a little shit but your child is no better... That's all..

Beautiful Weekend!!

We had a beautiful weekend this past weekend! Friday we got Jason's kids for the night..

You can't tell in these pics but poor Clayton has a cast on his arm.. Last weekend he broke his arm and had to have surgery.. They put 2 plates in his arm.. He'll have to have another surgery later on to remove the plates after it heals.. Let me tell ya he doesn't let it slow him down one bit lol..

Saturday Kobe had a soccer game they won 8-1.. his team did awesome.. so far we are 3-0 this season. Kobe had a few shots on goal but no luck again.. However he played goalie!! UGH I hate that lol but he did pretty good in goal.. even though he stepped outta the box and they called a handball... ooops! But the other team didn't score when they had their free kick thanks to my niece Olivia who the coach traded spots with Kobe before the kick.. relief for this momma!

Later after the soccer game we had my niece Olivia's First Communion.. The guys decided to go fishing so My mom and I went to Mass and then her reception after! She looked absolutely GORGEOUS I got teary eyed when I saw her!!

Easter Weekend

What a busy weekend it was!

Soccer has started full force. We had Kobe's 2nd soccer game Saturday with a win 12-1. Kobe's team is really good this year. He had 2 shots at goal but one was stopped well they both were BUT the goalie was inside the goal when she caught one but they didn't call it... but I considered it a goal because technically it WAS lol. Ugh Kobe even played goalie in the game.. he did good but I was sooo nervous! So we are 2-0 this season!

After the soccer game Mom, Kobe and I headed down to my cousin's baby reveal party. We had a good time I just hate the 2hour drive. I was team PINK... however the baby is a boy!! We will meet him in August..

Our trip home wasn't too fun.. our 2 hour trip turned into a 5 hr trip home..

My Grandparents car broke down on the big interstate. Its a good thing I was only a few minutes in front of them and I was at a gas station getting a drink and was able to turn around to get them. After I got to them we waited 2 hrs for AAA to come to tow the car to a mechanic.. but we were all safe and made it home just fine.. Usually Grandpa is the one I call when I'm in trouble and need help lol this time he was calling for my help and I'm glad I was able to help them..

We got home at 10:25pm. We were so tired.. we had to get ready for the Easter Bunny to come.. we didn't even make it to church.. But we still had a good day with family..
