Okay first off On the PBS station after EVERY episode on there they always say "for more (What ever the show was) join us on PBSkids.Org"
So My Mom, Kobe and I all decide to drive through the park (as we do EVERY night) and around the back are the Ginger Bread Men... my
Mom: "Oooh Look Kobe"
Kobe: "yeh thats me and Caillou" (Cartoon on PBS)
Mom: "Do you like caillou?"
Kobe: "Yeh me do"
Mom: (talking to me) "I personally think he is s-t-u-p-i-d" (spelling it so Kobe didn't hear it)
Kobe: "nu-uh mamaw he's PBSkids.org"
There is NEVER a moment with my child he is always on his toes!

***** Meet "Jack" ****
This is Jack
Jack is our "Elf On The Shelf" Buddy!!! He comes with a story book you read with the kids and tells you all about Jack and why he is at your house!
Jack is our "Elf On The Shelf" Buddy!!! He comes with a story book you read with the kids and tells you all about Jack and why he is at your house!

So While Kobe was upstairs on the phone with his mamaw, I got the book out and sat the Elf on a wicker heart I have and when Kobe came down stairs I said Look who came to see us and brought us a book. He looked around thinking it was going to be a normal size human lol. He didn't spot him so I had to give him several clues. When he saw him he was in awe. I told him come over here and sit on the couch and we will read the story about him. So he crawled up on my lap and the questions started LOL I didn't think I was going to be able to read the story due to him stopping me and asking 25654112 Questions. So Anyways here is how it goes if you are wondering. You let your child name your elf. Kobe named him all by himself... Named him "Jack" you aren't aloud to touch Jack because he will lose his magic and leave and not come back. But every day Jack sits and watches Kobe ALL day and then at night when he goes to bed Jack flies to the North Pole and tells Santa if Kobe was a good boy today then returns before Kobe gets outta bed and sits in a different spot. Every morning Kobe gets the joy of looking for Jack in a new spot. If your child has an amazing imagination like mine then I HIGHLY recommend this but not til they are older. Kobe is 3 will be 4 in Feb and this is the PERFECT age for him to start this. Its cute and fun and dang it gets me 23 days of Good behavior outta Kobe LOL Well I am hoping at least LOL. Kobe loves Jack and talks to him constantly. I don't think he'll get bored with it either because Every night he moves to a different spot and Kobe has to look for him! I just hope I can find 22 more different places to put Jack that Kobe can't reach him LOL I look forward to moving Jack every night. Last night I couldn't wait for Kobe to fall asleep so I could sneak down our stairs and put Jack in a new place! Its doesn't take much to excite me LOL I think you can get "The Elf On the Shelf" at Barnes and Noble I got mine as a gift last year. If you have someone you could give this to as a gift I highly recommend it :o) I think I made my point bout recommending it! :o) I love Christmas and I love Doing this and the whole Santa Claus thing. We go and see Santa at the Mall because to me THAT is the "real" Santa lol I'm still a HUGE believer in the Idea of Santa and I will cry when it comes the time my son says he doesn't believe anymore. But hopefully I will be as good as my mom was in making me believe there was a Santa that it will last forever like it does for me. :o)

Wow...3 Years Ago!
On Oct 5Th it was 3 years ago my baby was in Riley Hospital with bleeding on his brain. Me and Tim (my now ex husband, Kobe's "father") were being accused of Shaken Baby Syndrome. Here's a short version of what happen...
In September Kobe had been vomiting and not keeping ANYTHING down for 12 days. Then on top of that he caught a cold and was coughing and coughing. So after his Dr. had us try everything and when he wouldn't even keep Pedalyte down I took him BACK in to the Dr. and said something had to be done well the nurse did all her nursely duties including Measuring his head. It had gone up from the previous time he was in there so the Dr. triple checked it and had Kobe Admitted in DCH to give him fluids and run tests on his head. So we were in the hospital 2 days and right before we were released to go home the Dr came in with the CT Scan results and said they found some fluid on Kobe's head and he would have to be sedated to have a MRI done, to get more details and that we would have to go the next day to Deaconess in Evansville to have the test done. So the next day off we were going to E-ville to have the MRI done. I was a mess at this point btw, especially since we didn't know what was going on and my 8 month old was going to be sedated! He did really well tho I was soo proud of him! So weeks went by and finally his Dr called me at work and asked if me and Tim could come to the Dr's office and talk to the Dr. So I called Tim's work and he came and picked me up from work. So we headed to the Dr's I was sick to my stomach btw! So we get in there and he had the MRI results in his hands and told us that there was bleeding on Kobe's head in between his brain and the brain lining and that he was sending us to Riley... So off to Riley us and my parents go, we get up there and no one knew anything about us coming and everyone was confused as to why we were there... and finally they got all their stuff straight and Kobe was admitted. But because we had gone up there before our Dr called we had Child Protective Services (CPS) thrown in our faces and they were telling us that we might have to leave with OUT Kobe if they find anything that links to his head bleeding from abuse. So they did EVERY test possible, Bone scan, Bio Nuclear Bone Scan (where they give him this stuff to turn his bones blue to see if there were any little spots they missed) Eye tests, hearing test, ect. U name it they tested him for it. Finally after all the test came back negative we were released a week later... We had doctors constantly in our room asking us the same questions over and over we probably saw like 10 doctors... it was a mess... and VERY scary to think in a matter of minutes we were being accused of hurting our baby and could possibly get him taken away for something we didn't even do. The bleeding was from his prolonged vomiting and coughing had busted tiny blood vessels. A year later after all that we had to go back to Riley and see his Neurologist and have another CT Scan to make sure everything was okay and it was NOTHING on his head this time. So his Neurologist released us from under her care.

Happy Halloween '09
Halloween was so fun this year! Kobe actually knew what to do this year. Also it was SOOOOOOOOOO nice that he can unbuckle himself and since the door on the van is automatic he can get out himself to so that took less time as last year when I'd have to undo a 5 point harness car seat and then buckle him back in that 5 point car seat lol We stoped by his Great Grandma and Grandpa Solliday's, mom's best friend Sherri's, His Great Aunt and Uncle Darren and Shellie, Cathy and Tim Dant's, the sheriff station, his great Grandma and Grandpa Hill's and then to Mamaw Kathi and Papaw Denny's(my parents) and he got a HUGE load of Candy..
He was a Power Ranger this year!
I had a Halloween Party to go to Later that night and I was an Old White Trash Hag LOL

I Love Halloween Season!
Look at this scary Haunted House!!! This is WC's "Haunted High" a haunted house that is put on here in our small little town. My friend who went to Haunted Houses in INDY Friday night said that those haunted houses were nothing compared to this one... that this was the best they had been to and they went to 6 in Indy! Just driving by it and seeing the people in their costumes is scary enough for me... BUT
